Since 1994 CGIL in Lombardy has achieved excellence in elaborating, researching and providing training in the area of health and safety in the workplace.  Several associations, companies, training centres throughout Lombardy carrying out training courses on which there was an agreement between the unions and the employers’ representatives on the Italian legislation (Law 626) and for the representatives of workers.
